Bagercize – The Workout

Bagercize utilizes traditional Korean Taekwon-Do as an underlying discipline in an interval kickboxing workout.  A beginner does not need to have any knowledge or skills in traditional Korean Taekwon-Do martial art to understand the techniques instructed by Keith Thompson.  Keith Thompson, has been teaching students for 40 years in kickboxing and personal health. He is a 6th degree black belt in traditional Korean Taekwon-Do, a master in other martial arts.

By using the interval training method, the body is able to burn more fat than regular exercise.  Depending on a person’s body composition, one can burn between 600-1000 per hour of this very structure workout.  Keith Thompson builds the routines methodically by starting with out with a level 1 skill and then adds with each round an additional skill to result by the last round – in a routine that in the end becomes a self defense skill.

Not only are you learning a skill set to aid you in your self defense, Keith Thompson is also trained in Buddhist meditation.  The holistic practice of Bagercize is to train you both physically and mentally to be prepared for the world with all its daily challenges.  The benefit of such a focus is that by feeling empowered to handle the challenges, you are on the flip side able to see opportunities and take advantage of them.
